In the time studies showed that among the 5.3 million citizens 61% were british and 31% were french(others were native and european), and out of all those people, 78% of the population were able to speak english and 32% were able to speak french totaling the number of people who could speak both languages to 700k(the extra 10% were people who could speak both languages)! Biology has brought about better living conditions and safety measures which will enable upcoming generations to experience enhanced quality of life. Why take Biology? When students are picking their classes next year, they often view biology as just another subject with a lot of memorization. It can be easy to ignore it. A student might wonder why they need sleep or why an energy drink gives them a quick burst of energy then a major headache. Biology holds the answers to all of these questions. It is the study of life, since everyone is a living being, they are the main subject. The class explains how their own bodies work, which is pretty useful information for almost anyone. It is not all about textbook diagrams or cells, either, biology helps a person understand the entire world around them. It explains the behavior of an animal , how diseases spread, and how medicines fight them off. All the incredible things on Earth, from the weirdest animals to the tallest trees are connected by biology class. For the people who want to be a doctor, a vet, or work in an environmental space , biology is obviously needed. But even for students who do not plan that , topics like climate change, genetically modified foods, and new viruses are constantly on the news. Taking biology gives them the basic tools to understand these complex issues and form their own educated opinions instead of just feeling confused. So, a student could take biology just because it is a graduation requirement. Or, they could choose to get into it and discover that it tells the most epic story ever: the story of life. And they are a living part of that story. Is biology easy? Biology is actually really easy for some people because it is just memorizing and no problem solving is involved . People at school often give it many titles like the easiest science, easiest subject, etc for alot of reasons. First of all, biology is mainly just memorizing compared to alot of other subjects like math where you need a good problem solving skill, english where you need a good play with words and creativity but for biology, it’s just a little memorizing and everything else is common sense Will biology get you a Job Will biology help you get a job, and the short answer is yes, it is actually required for one of the common high paying jobs like being a doctor and a neuro-surgen. Biology is by far one of the most important subjects needed for a high paying job, although the competition is extremely difficult, it is possible with hard work and determination.
