The incident happened only days after a cricketer (Harjeet Singh) lost and collapsed on the pitch just moments after hitting a six during a match in Firozpur, Punjab.
Both these incidents bring to light the vexed issue of people dying at a very young age while engaging themselves in competitive sports activities to keep themselves fit
In the latest incident, which happened at Nagole Stadium, the youth, who was identified as Gundla Rakesh, suddenly collapsed before readying up for his service game
As per local media reports, Rakesh, who is the son of Gundla Venkateshwarlu, former deputy sarpanch of Tallada, and was working in a private company in Hyderabad, breathed his last after reaching the hospital
